DESCRIPTION

The Airing ring main unit (RMU) is suitable for medium-voltage secondary power distribution systems up to and including 24 kV.

The Airing medium-voltage ring main unit (RMU) utilizes pure dry air (GWP=0) as an eco-friendly alternative to SF₆ for insulation and switching.

 Integrating self-energy load switch and vacuum circuit breaker technologies, it is TÜV Rheinland certified and compliant with IEC, GB, and EU F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573. 

Designed for urban power grids, industrial facilities, commercial applications, and renewable energy systems.

FEATURES

SF6-Free

· Pure and dry air is used as the insulation and/or switching, with GWP=0.

Safety

· For the Airing 24kV, the inflation pressure of the insulation and/or switching gas in the gas compartment is only 0.15 MPa, with an annual gas leakage rate ≤ 0.01%.

Reliable

· The insulation performance of the gas compartment at zero gauge pressure (abs) [0.10 MPa] meets the requirements of IEC standards.

Compactness

· It adopts a standard modular design and compact structure, allowing flexible combinations of unit panels and common-box cabinets.

Intelligence

· It can be equipped with Xiamen Huadian iEDS Intelligent Digital Detection System to support intelligent asset health management.
